Barcelona fail to lift Lewandowski’s three-match ban

“Barcelona” failed to get a review of the attacker’s disqualification Robert Lewandowski for three games.

The Spanish Administrative Court of Sports (TAD) has confirmed the sanction imposed on the Polish striker.

Lewandowski was sent off for a second yellow card in the 31st minute of the match of the 14th day of the Spanish championship with Osasuna (2-1). The striker expressed his displeasure, showing disrespectful gestures. He was then suspended for three games.

Thus, Lewandowski will be forced to miss matches with Espanyol, Atlético and Getafe.

Lewandowski is currently the top scorer in the Spanish league this season with 13 goals.
