german footballer Toni Kroos reacted sarcastically to his name being mentioned among the worst players at the last World Cup in Qatar.
Kroos hasn’t featured in the 2022 World Cup as he retired from the German national team in July last year.
During a debate on El Chiringuito de Jugones, journalist Cristina Cubero called Brazilian Vinicius Junior and Kroos the worst players in the tournament.
“I knew someone was going to blame me for the national team result,” Kroos wrote on social media.
National team Germany at the 2022 World Cup failed to overcome the group stage.
