Benzema’s agent, Real Madrid and France striker, accuses Didier Deschamps of dismissing the French star from the 2022 World Cup too soon, due to an injury

Karim Djaziriagent of Karim Benzemaattacker of Real Madrid and the Franceadded fuel to the fire and reignited a controversy with Didier Deschamps🇧🇷 This Monday, the 26th, the professional published on his social networks the results of imaging tests performed by the star player after being released from the World Cup 2022 and asked the French coach.

According to the agent, Benzema would be able to return to competition right after the group stage. “I put it there but before that I consulted 3 specialists who confirmed the diagnosis that Benzema could be fit from 1/8 to at least be on the bench! Why did you ask him to leave so quickly?”, published Djaziri.

On 19 November, the day before the start of the 2022 World Cup, Karim Benzema was released from the France squad after suffering a thigh injury during team training. THE french federation estimated that he would need three weeks to recover. So he didn’t cut him off the list, but decided to drop him.

That way, Didier Deschamps and his commission decided not to call up another striker to replace the elected player of the season. Therefore, Benzema could play the remainder of the competition for France, as long as he recovered and was released to rejoin the cast of the two-time world champion.
