The Romanian specialist does not plan to leave the post of head coach of the Kyiv team in the near future.
Mircea Lucescu is not leaving Dynamo Kyiv anytime soon. According to the Romanian specialist, he will be in the team as long as he has physical strength, and therefore, at the moment, he is not thinking about leaving the Ukrainian club.
“We came in a pandemic, we achieved results that they never dreamed of. A year ago, Shakhtar won the championship with a 23-point advantage. And with this team, we won the championship, ahead of Shakhtar by 11 points. So it was impossible to leave the team then.
If there is a moment of physical weakness, I will retire. But as long as we are moving forward, leaving is out of the question,” Digi Sport quoted Lucescu as saying.
Recall that Mircea Lucescu took charge of Dynamo in the summer of 2020. His contract with the club runs until the summer of 2024. This UPL season, the Kievans are still in third place, behind Dnipro-1 and Shakhtar Donetsk.
Recall that earlier the new head coach was appointed by another representative of the Premier League – Ingulets.
