The miners did not accept the first proposal for the transfer of Mudrik
CEO of Shakhtar Sergey Palkin commented Negotiations for the transfer of winger Mihail Mudrik to Arsenal.
“Negotiations are underway. We receive proposals, but not those that we would like to see on our table. Now, literally in 5 minutes, I will call Arsenal. We are open to negotiations, ready to exchange views and figures. We agree – we agree. No, next time.”
Recently, the Miners refused to buy a player from Londoners. The Gunners offered £55m for the Ukrainian winger. The miners want to earn up to 85 million pounds on the player’s transfer.
The parties continue negotiations and, most likely, will be able to conclude a deal. An important factor in the possible transition of Mudrik is the desire of the player himself to move to the Premier League.
This season, Mikhail played in 18 matches for Shakhtar, scoring 10 goals and providing eight assists.
Shakhtar is in second place in the UPL standings. The miners will play in the 1/16 Europa League in the spring. Arsenal lead the Premier League with a five-point lead over Manchester City.
