Real Madrid ready to pay more than €100m for Bellingham

Madrid hope to secure transfer in January

Real ready to pay more than 100 million euros for the midfielder of Borussia D Jude Bellingham.

Madrid want to arrange a transfer in January. The club considers the amount of the deal around 100 million euros to be “reasonable”, and will refuse to buy if the price is too high.

Real Madrid hope the transfer will be facilitated by the good personal relationship between club president Florentino Pérez and Dortmund CEO Hans-Joachim Watzke. In particular, thanks to this, the Blancos expect to bypass Liverpool in the dispute for the midfielder.

Bellingham, 19, joined Borussia Dortmund in 2020 for €25m. Jude has made 22 appearances for the Bumblebees this season in all competitions, scoring 9 goals. The midfielder became the second-youngest goalscorer in England history at the World Cup after Michael Owen, scoring for his side against Iran.

Real Madrid are second in La Liga. Madrid on Friday will play with Valladolid in the championship of Spain, the meeting starts at 22:30 Kyiv time.
