Ukrainian midfielder of Atalanta Ruslan Malinovsky wants to go to Tottenham.
The Spurs negotiated with the Bergamasks but stopped them in early December. For the transition this winter, the London club was going to pay 16-18 million euros.
Atalanta recently activated the option to extend Malinowski’s contract until 2024. At the same time, the Ukrainian had to discuss his future in the team with head coach Gian Piero Gasperini.
This season, the 29-year-old Ukrainian has played 14 matches for Atalanta, scoring one goal and scoring two assists. Ruslan scored in the last test match against Crema.
Atalanta are sixth in Serie A after losing their last three matches. In the next match of the Italian championship, the Bergamaschi will play away with La Spezia on January 4.
Tottenham have pulled out a draw from Brentford in the last match and are fourth in the Premier League. Spurs will host Aston Villa in the next match on January 1st.
