Mark Overmars suffered a minor stroke and was hospitalized. He’s fine, but Mark will have to rest for a while. He and his family are fully focused on recovery and do not wish to comment, the club said in a statement.
Overmars joined Antwerp in March, having previously held a position at Ajax. As a player, with the Dutch national team, he won bronze medals at the European Championships twice (2000, 2004).
