Head Coach “Spartacus” Guillermo Abascal answered the question if he would like to lead the Spanish Sevilla.
Previously, the 33-year-old from Sevilla worked at the local club as an analyst, as well as coaching the U13 team.
– I do not think about it. Every step I took in my career, I never planned it because I don’t want any disappointment. If it should come, it will come. And it will come if I do everything right. Spartak can give me stability and an interesting project. I like both clubs. Spartak is demanding because of the legendary past. We have young and experienced players who already know what it means to win. It’s the perfect combination. I feel part of the project, I have the support of the club and I can grow with these players. The future will show it. I have never been a head coach in Spain, it would be something new, – quotes Abascal Report .
After 17 rounds of the WORLD RPL, Spartak under the leadership of Abaskal takes second place in the standings, 6 points behind the top Zenit.
