Club Brugge announces Scott Parker’s appointment as head coach

The official presentation is scheduled for next week.

Bruges announced the appointment of an English specialist Scott Parker as head coach of the team.

The term of the agreement with the mentor was not disclosed. The official presentation of the new Brugge coach will take place next week.

In his position, Parker replaced Karl Hoefkens. The leadership of Brugge was dissatisfied with the results of the team in the domestic arena.

Parker is known for his appearances for Chelsea, Tottenham, Newcastle, West Ham and Norwich. As a coach, the 42-year-old has worked at Fulham and Bournemouth.

Brugge are fourth in the Jupilé League and will play in the Champions League play-offs in the spring. At the same time, the blue-blacks cannot win three games in a row in the Belgian championship, and also flew out of the Belgian Cup.

It should be noted that two representatives of the national team of Ukraine play in Brugge – defender Eduard Sobol and forward Roman Yaremchuk.
