Croat could reunite with Cristiano Ronaldo
Midfielder Real Madrid Luka Modric received an offer from a transfer to the club of Saudi Arabia – Al-Nasr.
The Croatian refused the proposal of the Arabians. The midfielder plans to continue his career in the Blancos camp.
Modric’s current contract with Real Madrid runs until the end of the current season. At the same time, both parties are satisfied with the cooperation and the extension of the agreement will take place without difficulty.
Luca has made 19 appearances for Real Madrid in all competitions this season, scoring five goals and providing two assists. With the Croatian national team, Modric became the bronze medalist of the 2022 World Cup.
Al-Nasr recently signed Modric’s former teammate Cristiano Ronaldo of Portugal. The Saudi Arabian club also planned to sign midfielder Ngolo Kante and center back Sergio Ramos.
Real Madrid are in second position in the La Liga standings.
