“Orenburg “supports the idea of the RFU’s transition from the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) to the Asian Football Confederation (AFC),” club president Vasily Eremyakin told RB Sport.
By the end of the year, the RFU must decide on a possible change of confederation – from UEFA to the AFC. Earlier, RFU President Alexander Dyukov said that most MIR RPL clubs support the idea.
“We supported this idea,” Eremyakin said. “We are in a difficult situation. We had a conversation with the league management. I said it’s a complex question, it shouldn’t be solved on this plane. But our position is this: Boiling in your own juices won’t do you any good. Therefore, Asia will be good. We can therefore be guided by our position that we are not against the transition.
– Will there be problems with foreign players because the clubs will not have European cups, but Asian cups?
“Problems arise every day. We will decide.
