He starts his coaching career and will work as Rotan’s assistant in Alexandria
Midfielder Sergey Kravchenko left Chernomorets and retired as a player.
This season, Kravchenko has 9 matches for Chernomorets, in which the midfielder gave two assists. His contract with Odessa was calculated until the end of the season, but the player left by agreement with the club’s management.
Kravchenko is a graduate of Shakhtar. During his football career, he defended the colors of Dnipro, Dynamo, Vorskla, Volyn and Karabakh. Sergey was also among the five players who scored in the Premier League after 38 years.
Kravchenko will become one of the assistants to the new head coach of Alexandria Ruslan Rotan. Kravchenko and Rotan played together in Dnipro until 2017, and also played in the Ukrainian national team. Both midfielders with Dnipro reached the Europa League final in 2015.
Odessans take 15th place in the Premier League. Oleksandriya is in the fifth position of the Ukrainian championship.
