Juventus reported a loss of €239.3m at the end of last season

Italian masters Juventus approved the financial report for the past season with a loss of 239.3 million euros, according to Football Italia.

It is the second biggest defeat ever recorded by a Serie A club.

This meeting of shareholders was the last chaired by Andrea Agnelli. He resigned on November 28 along with the entire board including Pavel Nedved and Maurizio Arrivabene.

“I wish all the best to the next President, Gianluca Ferrero, and the new CEO, Maurizio Scanavino. Leaving the presidency was not an easy decision for me, – with these words Agnelli opened today’s shareholders’ meeting.

Agnelli was named Juventus president in 2010 and won 19 trophies during his 13 years at the helm. The club and its current and former managers are currently under investigation on suspicion of creating fictitious reports and market fraud.
