Ronaldo could move to Newcastle if the Magpies qualify for the Champions League

The Premier League club is managed by a fund from Saudi Arabia and has the option to loan a player

Forward Al Nasr Cristiano Ronaldo has the opportunity to join in the summer Newcastle on lease.

The striker’s contract contains a move clause if the Magpies qualify for the Champions League. The Newcastle Owners are a consortium owned by the Saudi Arabian government. When signing the contract, Al-Nasr used this opportunity to attract the Portuguese.

Ronaldo is scheduled to fly to Riyadh on Monday evening. Over the next day, the Portuguese must undergo a medical examination, after which the official presentation of the player in the new club will take place.

Ronaldo moved to the club from Saudi Arabia at the end of December. It was reported that the forward’s agreement was finalized until the summer of 2025. Ronaldo will earn at least 75 million euros a year. In addition to the basic salary, the income of the Portuguese can double through the sale of image rights.

Al-Nasr sits at the top of the Saudi Arabian league standings, one point ahead of Al-Shabaab and having played one match more. In the next match, the club from Riyadh will play Al Tai on January 5.
