Controversial wide receiver Brown signed with the Buccaneers. Last year he was accused of rape

The player is currently serving an 8-match ban.

Wide receiver Antonio Brown signed a one-year contract with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

The 32-year-old American has not played in the NFL since the New England Patriots terminated his contract last September. As part of the Patriots, Brown managed to play only one match.

The Patriots terminated the agreement with Brown after the player was accused of rape. Antonio himself denied his guilt.

During the summer, the NFL suspended Brown for 8 games for off-field misconduct. In June, the receiver received a two-year suspended sentence and 100 hours of community service as a result of burglary and battery.

The ban expires next weekend, so Brown could make his debut for the Buccaneers against the New Orleans Saints on November 8.

Brown is best known for playing with the Pittsburgh Steelers from 2010 to 2018, where he proved to be one of the top wide receivers in the NFL.
