Marseille offered to rent Malinovsky from Atalanta with a buyout obligation – media

Did not leave attempts to sign the Ukrainian and Tottenham

Marseilles offered to loan a midfielder Ruslan Malinovsky at Atalanta with an obligation to buy. The clubs are negotiating the transfer of the Ukrainian in January.

Atalanta recently activated the option to extend Malinowski’s contract until 2024. At the same time, the Ukrainian had to discuss his future in the team with head coach Gian Piero Gasperini.

Malinovsky himself wants to go to Tottenham. Spurs have reportedly stopped talks with the Bergamasks, but Conte’s side are still hoping to sign the Ukrainian. Also another contender for the midfielder was West Ham.

Earlier it was reported that Atalanta is considering the option of dismissing head coach Gian Piero Gasperini in case of missing out on European competition for next season. The main contender for the position is called the former head coach of Leipzig Domenico Tedesco.

This season, the 29-year-old Ukrainian has played 14 matches for Atalanta, scoring one goal and scoring two assists. Ruslan scored in the last test match against Crema.

Atalanta are sixth in Serie A after losing their last three matches. The Bergamasks will resume the season on January 4 with a duel with Spezia. Marseille are third in Ligue 1.
