The German is set to end his Real Madrid career
Real Madrid head coach Carlo Anchelotti sure that the captain of Madrid Toni Kroos will extend the contract with the club in the near future.
“He is quite sure of this and will clarify everything next month. As a football fan, it is impossible to imagine that he is going to retire from football. He said he wants to end his career at Real Madrid and that’s why I think he will continue.”
It was previously reported that the German midfielder would make a decision on his future in February. The midfielder is faced with a choice – to end his professional career as a player or sign a new agreement with Real Madrid. The current contract with Blancos runs until June 2023.
Kroos has made 19 appearances for Real Madrid in all competitions this season. On account of captain Blancos – one goal and four assists.
Real Madrid shares the first line with Barcelona in the Example. Madrid will play their next match on January 3 against Cacereno in the Copa del Rey.
