Espanyol intends to appeal the result match of the 15th round of La Liga against Barcelona (1:1).
The club filed a complaint with the Royal Spanish Football Federation over the participation of Barcelona striker Robert Lewandowski in this match, who was ineligible to play due to suspension.
Espanyol considers the Madrid court’s decision to suspend Lewandowski’s three-match ban “unfair and hasty” as “unfair and hasty”.
Earlier, the Spanish Football Federation rejected the appeal of the Catalan club for a three-match suspension of Lewandowski.
