Former head coach Russian team Valery Gazzaev confessed to ‘Sports Day by Day’ that he hadn’t heard of Vladimir Ivic who was appointed to the post of head coach of Krasnodar.
Previously in the press department “Krasnodar” reported that Ivic took over as the team’s head coach. The deal with the coach, who previously worked at Maccabi Tel Aviv, PAOK and Watford, is for two years.
– I do not know such a coach? Where is he from? I don’t know which club he worked for. This is the first time I hear such a name,” Gazzaev said.
After 17 rounds, Krasnodar takes 8th place in the WORLD RPL ranking. The team spent the first half of the season under the management of Oleksandr Storozhuk.
