The London club are looking for a replacement for Hugo Lloris
Shakhtar goalkeeper Anatoly Trubin fell into the field of interest Tottenham.
According to the Daily Express, the management of the Spurs is looking for a replacement for 36-year-old Hugo Lloris and drew attention to the Pitmen’s goalkeeper. Tottenham will try to sign Trubin in the summer, when he has a year left on his contract and the deal could cost the London club relatively cheaply.
Earlier it was reported that Trubin was on the list of interests of Juventus, and two more Serie A clubs – Udinese and Sassuolo.
The 21-year-old goalkeeper has been playing for Shakhtar’s first team since 2020. This season, Trubin has 18 matches in all competitions and 21 goals conceded.
Tottenham Hotspur are 5th in the Premier League table. On January 4, Spurs will play away against Crystal Palace.
