Uruguayan striker Luis Suarez was introduced as a rookie “Gremio” .
Over 40,000 fans attended the striker’s presentation at the Arena Gremio stadium.
Suarez’s deal with the Brazilian club runs until the end of 2024.
– It was easy for me to make this decision, because they love football here. I will try to bring Gremio back to where he should be,” Gremio press service quoted the striker as saying.
Suarez’s last club was Uruguayan Nacional, where he returned this year after 16 seasons in European football. The footballer played for Liverpool, Barcelona and Atlético.
