Courtois has 125 points, 15 more than the Argentine goalkeeper. Emiliano Martinez who won the 2022 World Cup. Goalkeeper of the Morocco team Yassine Bunu takes 3rd place (55 points) and becomes the first African goalkeeper in the top 3 in the world.
Only Gianluigi Buffon, Iker Casillas, Manuel Neuer (5 each), Walter Zenga, Jose Luis Chilavert, Oliver Kahn (3 each) have been the best more often than Courtois, who now has two awards, like Denmark’s Peter Schmeichel.
