Bellingham named IFFHS Young Player of the Year 2022

Top 3 – Musiala and Guardiol

Midfielder for England and Borussia Dortmund Jude Bellingham recognized as the best young player of 2022 according to IFFHS.

The midfielder received 115 votes during the voting. The top 3 also included Bayern midfielder Jamal Musiala and Leipzig defender Joshko Guardiol.

Jude has made 22 appearances for the Bumblebees this season in all competitions, scoring nine goals. It was reported that Chelsea are actively interested in the player – Borussia D is ready to sell Bellingham for at least 120 million euros.

The midfielder also became the second-youngest goalscorer in England history at the World Cups after Michael Owen, having distinguished himself as part of his team in the match with Iran.

Note that Jude topped the list of the most expensive football players in the world according to the International Center for Sports Research (CIES). Analysts have estimated the transfer value of the midfielder at 208.2 million euros.

Borussia Dortmund is sixth in the Bundesliga after 15 matches played.
