Ukrainian tennis player Marta Kostyuk eliminated in the first round of qualifying for the second tournament WTA 500 in Adelaide.
The Ukrainian lost in two sets to the 11th seeded American Shelby Rogers. Recall that Marta reached the quarterfinals of the first tournament in Adelaide, losing to the second racket of the world, Ons Jaber.
Another Ukrainian tennis player Katerina Beindl successfully overcame the first round of qualification of the WTA 250 tournament in the Australian Hobart. The Ukrainian beat the fifth seed Victoria Golubich from Switzerland in three sets. In the decisive match for entering the main draw, Beindl will meet with the American Lauren Davis, seeded under the 11th number.
