The Japanese club continued the loan of the player until the end of 2023
Winger Metalista Paulinho will remain in Kyoto Sanga for another year. The Japanese club has extended the 24-year-old Brazilian’s loan until December 31, 2023.
Paulinho became a Kharkiv player in November 2021. Metalist paid Sao Paulo for the Brazilian 1.6 million euros. The winger did not play a single game for the Kharkiv team due to the Russian invasion, and went on loan to Kyoto Sanga in the summer.
During the autumn part of the season, Paulinho made eight appearances for the Japanese club in all competitions. In them, the winger scored three goals.
Kyoto Sanga took 16th place in the J-League at the end of the season, and then retained a place in the elite division in the playoff match. The new season in the Japanese championship starts on February 17th.
