Former Spartak coach Massimo Carrera admitted that if he managed the Serie A club, he would first sign contracts with the players of the Moscow club George Jikia and Quincy Promeson .
– If I managed the Serie A club, my first transfers were Djikia and Promes. These are two leaders who lead the rest. They can transform the outcome of the toughest matches. If you take gladiators like Promes and Jikia to war, then together they will win it,” Carrera told Sport24.
Carrera worked with Jikia and Promes in “Spartacus” . Both players were part of the Moscow club in the 2016/17 season, after which the Red-Whites, under the guidance of an Italian specialist, won their only league title in the last 21 years.
