Reds and Wolves will meet again in mid-January
Liverpool tied at home with Wolverhampton (2:2) in the match of 1/32 finals FA Cup. The teams will meet in a replay.
In the first half, the teams exchanged goals between Goncalo Guedes and Darwin Nunez. After the break, Mohamed Salah put the Reds ahead, but Jurgen Klopp’s team failed to bring the meeting to victory.
Wolves bounced back in the middle of the second half of the meeting with the efforts of Hwang Hee Chan. Guests and all could have won, but Toti’s goal was canceled due to offside.
Liverpool are sixth in the Premier League. Wolverhampton are in the penultimate position in the standings.
Liverpool will play Brighton next in the Premier League on January 14. Wolves will face Nottingham Forest on January 11 in the quarter-finals of the English League Cup.
