The tournament starts on February 5
President of Vinnitsa Niva Artur Zagorulko shared the team’s plans for PFL Winter Cup.
“We signed up for the PFL Winter Cup. It starts on the fifth of February and finishes in March. Our rivals and their number in the groups are unknown. At the group stage, half of the fights will be held in Vinnitsa, the other half will be away.”
“Niva always wants to fight for high places, and the PFL Winter Cup is no exception. At the same time, he will help to get into the season.”
“What are the line-up changes? Now two football players have stopped working with Niva. These are Igor Bilyk and Nikita Gavrik. We are waiting for reinforcements, we will look at potential newcomers in control fights.”
“Niva will meet for the first time on January 20 in Vinnitsa. Then a two-week training camp will begin. We plan to hold a test match on January 28, but the opponent is still unknown.”
Earlier there was information that the Professional Football League plans to hold the PFL Winter Open Cup. Most PFL clubs do not have the opportunity to organize training camps during the war period, so the tournament should be a preparation for many teams for the spring part of the season.
Vinnitsa Niva finished the first part of the season in the Second League in fourth place in the standings. Lagging behind the leader – Niva Buzovaya – 9 points.
