Former Arsenal manager Arsène Wenger will work with India to develop football talent, the Indian Football Federation (AIFF) has said.
— We will have a scouting system for the national team. We will work on this project with FIFA and Arsene Wenger will personally devote his time to it,” said AIFF General Secretary Shaji Prabhakaran.
The AIFF did not specify Wenger’s exact role in the country’s talent development program. Wenger currently works for FIFA as Head of Global Football Development.
India is ranked 106th in the world ranking of national teams.
