Ukrainian medical examination scheduled for Monday
Marseilles reached an agreement with Atalanta on the transfer of the Ukrainian midfielder Ruslan Malinovsky. The French club will pay the Bergamasks 10 million euros plus 3 million euros in various bonuses.
Malinovsky will arrive in Marseille on Monday for a medical examination. The transfer will be officially announced soon.
Earlier it was reported that Marseille would pay about 10 million euros for the Ukrainian. Ruslan has already agreed on the terms of a personal contract with the French club.
Malinovsky was interested in Tottenham, offering Atalanta a loan with a subsequent buyout of the player. In addition to the Spurs, another Premier League club, West Ham, claimed the Ukrainian midfielder.
This season, the 29-year-old Ukrainian has played 15 matches for Atalanta, scoring one goal and scoring two assists.
Atalanta are seventh in Serie A with 28 points. Marseille are third in Ligue 1, eight points behind leaders PSG.
