Dnipro-1 leads the Ukrainian championship and reached the playoffs of the Conference League
Head coach of Dnipro-1 Alexander Kucher commented on possible team strengthening during winter break.
“Of course, this is all football life – people come and go. Of course, we want to improve, for which we need new players. This is required of us by the standings and our future schedule. After all, in order to play on two fronts, you need to have two squads in order to have a rotation, because all this is very difficult, as the first part of the season showed. Permanent roads, games in two days on the third, so you need to recover, and on the road it is very difficult.
Earlier, midfielder Veres Yevhen Pasich moved to Dnipro-1.
Dnipro-1 also said that at the training camp in Turkey, the coaching staff of the team will look at Metalist players: goalkeeper Orest Kostik, defender Bohdan Porokh, midfielders Vyacheslav Tankovsky, Yevgeny Podlepenets and Yegor Klimenchuk, forward Maxim Pryadun.
The first training camp in Turkey is scheduled from 15 to 21 January. The second will be held from January 25 to February 7. Dnipro are planning to hold seven control fights.
Dnipro-1 is leading the Ukrainian league, ahead of Shakhtar by five points. The national championship will resume in March. Also in the spring, the Kucher team will play with the Cypriot AEK in the 1/16 finals of the Conference League.
