Athletistic/ Football. Former “Zenith” and “Spartak” footballer Maxim Demenko called the transfer of midfielder Zelimkhan Bakaev from the red and white camp to the St. Petersburg club a mistake.
“For Bakaev, it’s definitely a failed transfer, because he was going to gain a foothold in the team. In terms of potential, he is practically not inferior to any Zenit footballer,” Legalbet quotes Demenko.
This season, 26-year-old Bakaev has made 20 appearances for Zenit in all competitions, scoring one goal and providing two assists.
Bakaev’s deal with blue-white-blue is calculated until the summer of 2025.
