General manager Boude-Glimt Frode Tomasson says the club did not raise the issue of the Russian goalkeeper’s return Nikita Khaikin .
In November, Haykin decided not to renew his contract with Boude-Glimt in order to try his luck at a stronger championship. Everton have shown interest in the player.
