Saudi striker income Al Nasra Cristiano Ronaldo to advance the joint bid of Saudi Arabia, Greece and Egypt for the right to host the 2030 FIFA World Cup will amount to 200 million euros, reports AFP with a link to the source.
– Ronaldo will receive over €200m under the terms of the deal. He will be the ambassador for the 2030 World Cup bid and will receive an additional 200 million, the source said.
Additionally, an application for the right to host the tournament was jointly submitted by Portugal and Spain, which were later joined by Ukraine.
Ronaldo, 37, joined Al-Nasr at the end of December, signing a two-year contract. The Portuguese is yet to make his debut for his new team. In November, the striker terminated the agreement with English “Manchester United”.
