Zenit may refuse to sign Lantratov due to ball boy incident – media

“Zenith” can drop the idea of signing a contract with a goalkeeper “Khimki” Ilya Lantratov reports RIA Novosti Sport, citing a source close to the situation.

The behavior of the 26-year-old goalkeeper during the first play-off for the right to stay in the Tinkoff RPL with SKA-Khabarovsk (0-1) may influence the decision of the management of the Saint Petersburg club. Lanratov pushed one of the ballboys, who, according to the player, deliberately did not give him the ball for a long time to enter the game. The athlete was not disqualified, but he was fined from 50,000 rubles.

It is noted that this incident puzzled the management of Zenit, because of which they could abandon the idea of acquiring the Russian goalkeeper.

This season, Lantratov has made 30 appearances, conceded 47 goals and kept 10 clean sheets.
