Athletistic/ Soccer. Former Russian national team footballer Andrei Arshavin has made it clear that he considers the RFU’s transition to the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) flags the most extreme step.
The ex-leader of the “Zenith” of St. Petersburg stressed that between the AFC and UEFA will choose the European family of football.
“As for the possible transition to Asia, I think there are so many inputs that we don’t know about. My opinion is that if you choose, of course I would like us to play in the European confederation, and not in the Asian,” Arshavin said, as quoted by Sport24.
