The ex-Arsenal defender is confident that the transfer will happen at the end of the transfer window
Former Arsenal defender Bakary Sagna commented possible transfer of Shakhtar winger Mykhailo Mudrik to a London club.
“He will join the club. I believe football transfers are mind games between buyer and seller. Shakhtar knows the quality of the player and knows that Arsenal needs him. I think it will happen, but maybe at the end of the transfer window.”

The Gunners’ first offer for Shakhtar winger Mikhail Mudrik (€40m plus €20m in various bonuses) was rejected. Arsenal have already made an improved offer to the Pitmen. At the same time, Mudrik himself has already agreed with the London club the terms of a personal contract.
On January 10, Mudrik flew with Shakhtar to a training camp in Turkey. This season, Mikhail has played 18 games for Shakhtar, scoring 10 goals and providing eight assists.
