“Manchester City” ranked first by net income among the champions of Europe’s top eight leagues in the 2021/22 season, according to Football Benchmark.
The turnover of the English team amounted to 731 million euros. Second place goes to MadridReal (714 million).
The largest percentage increase in revenue over last year was exemplified by “ajax – 51%. “PSG ”, in turn, recorded the highest commercial income of any European team, as well as the highest personnel costs.
In addition to the traditional top 5 European leagues (England, Spain, Italy, Germany, France), the Football Benchmark portal has included the leagues of the Netherlands, Turkey and Portugal in its study.
