Athletistic/ Football. Lokomotiv sporting director Dmitry Ulyanov says the club has money for transfers and the search for players not for a full contract, but only on loan, is linked to the current situation in the world .

“Firstly, everything is fine with our finances. And, secondly, we are looking for players on loan only because full transfers in the current situation would be too risky. We don’t want to end up in a situation where someone signs a full contract, then one day he packs his bags and leaves,” Ulyanov told Match TV.

During the winter transfer window, Lokomotiv signed contracts with goalkeeper Ilya Lantratov, midfielder Maxim Glushenkov and striker Sergei Pinyaev.
