Cymbal: I can fight, add or hold myself somewhere

Tsymbal took 34th place with two misses in the final shooting

Ukrainian biathlete Bogdan Tsymbal summed up the performance in the individual race at the World Cup in Ruhpolding.

“Here the track suits me better: there is where to relax and work. There are large flat stretches, and immediately good descents. In Pokljuka, the result was not very good, because we lost a lot with our feet. We worked on the bugs a little later, and it personally benefited me. ”

“Today I wanted to shoot. Everything went fine, three shootings were clean. I can’t say what happened at the fourth frontier. Perhaps he was tired, or maybe he really wanted to shoot clean. The third shot I saw myself that I made a mistake, but the last one, I was sure that it would close, but it didn’t happen, it’s very annoying. Of course, with zero, the result would be much better.”

“My physical condition is now much better, I can hold on to competitors. I can fight, add or hold myself somewhere, I can keep my pace. The main thing is that I can fight, run, I can feel it.”

Tsymbal took 34th place with two misses in the final shooting. The leader of the individual competition, the Norwegian Johannes Be, was the first to reach the finish line.

Further, the women’s individual race (January 12), the men’s (January 13) and women’s (January 14) relay races will be held in Ruhpolding, and the men’s and women’s mass starts (January 15) will complete the stage.
