The International Football Federation (FIFA) has presented 11 nominees for the Puskas Ferenc Award for the most beautiful goal of 2022.
The list includes the French striker’s second goal Kyliana Mbappe in the World Cup final in Qatar against Argentina, as well as a Brazilian goal Richarlison by himself in the World Cup game against Serbia.
List of contenders for the Puskas Ferenc Prize: Mario Balotelli (Adana Demirspor / Sion), Dimitri Payet (Marseille), Theo Hernandez (Milan), Alou Kyuol (Australia U23), Amandine Henry (Lyon, women’s team), Kylian Mbappe (team of France, PSG), Francisco Gonzalez (Central Cordoba), Marchin Oleksi (Warta), Salma Paralluelo (Villarreal, women’s team), Richarlison (Brazil national team, “Tottenham) and Alessia Russo (England women’s team).
Voting on the FIFA website will last until February 3. The winner will be announced at the official FIFA ceremony on February 27.
