The Ukrainian team conceded in the last second of overtime
Student national ice hockey team of Ukraine (U-25) lost Latvia in overtime in the second match on Universiade in the USA.
The Ukrainians were leading 2:1 at the end of the third period, but did not keep the advantage and let the opponent equalize the result. In overtime, the team of Vadym Shakhraichuk did not use the majority, and in the last seconds they themselves conceded in the numerical minority.
In the third match of the tournament, Ukraine will play against Sweden, the game will be held on January 17.
Recall that at the start of the Universiade hockey tournament, Ukraine lost to Canada – 1:6.
