Sports director of Dnipro-1 Evgeny Krasnikov claims €5m from winger transfer Mikhail Mudrik from Shakhtar to Chelsea.
It is reported that the functionary was an intermediary from the Ukrainian side during the negotiations. Intermediaries from Europe also took part in the deal, but their names were not specified. The total amount for Londoners, therefore, could reach 110 million euros instead of the declared 100 million.
Krasnikov has been dealing with Mudrik’s affairs almost since the player’s childhood. It is reported that the sports director of Dnipro-1 also claimed five million euros when the winger tried to buy Brentford for 22 million.
Mudrik signed a contract with Chelsea for eight and a half years. The Ukrainian will perform in Chelsea under the 15th number. The winger with the Ukrainian flag on his shoulders entered the field at Stamford Bridge during the break of the match of the 20th round of the Premier League with Crystal Palace (1:0).
Chelsea have narrowly beaten Crystal Palace (1-0) and are in tenth place in the Premier League. The Blues will next play Liverpool away on 21 January.
