The ex-coach of Dinamo says that the championship of Spain suits him in style
Former head coach of Dynamo and the Ukrainian national team Jozsef Szabo shared his thoughts on transition winger of the Kyiv club Viktor Tsygankov to Spanish Girona.
“There was a lot of talk about Viktor moving to different clubs, but they remained talk. They wrote to write, as now about Mudrik.
“I think that the transition of Tsygankov to Girona is just to go somewhere. Maybe he will play there. According to the style of play, the championship suits him – it’s not England or Germany. There the game is softer, you can accept it, process it. We’ll see how it goes with injuries. Many clubs did not want to take him precisely because he was often injured. After frequent injuries, Tsygankov lost the game he had. Only time will tell how Victor will play in the new team.
Recall that Girona in the coming days will complete the signing of a contract with Tsygankov. He will move to Girona in the summer as a free agent. The player will finish the 2022/23 season with the Kyiv team.
This season, the winger has scored 9 goals and made 6 assists in 23 matches for the Kyiv club. Dynamo is third in the UPL standings, ahead of Shakhtar and SC Dnipro-1.
Girona is currently 11th in La Liga this season. In the last round, the Catalans beat Sevilla at home – 2:1.
