The Portuguese said that Roma should prepare top players themselves
Roma head coach Jose Mourinho commented transfer winger Shakhtar Mikhail Mudrik in Chelsea. The Portuguese said that the Romans cannot afford expensive purchases, but must train top players themselves.
“In order for us to have the necessary quality, we need to make sure that young players grow up. Takhirovich has this quality. We need a defender who is a good forward passer. Kumbulla does it best, but we need Ibanez because of his pace and determination. We need to find a solution, we can’t just buy Mudrik for 100 million euros.”
Mudrik signed a contract with Chelsea for eight and a half years. His transfer was the most expensive winter signing in Premier League history.
Roma in the home match of the 18th round of Serie A beat Fiorentina (2:0) and is in seventh place in the standings. In the next round, the team of Mourinho on January 22 will play on the road against Spezia Ukrainian Viktor Kovalenko.
