Palkin: Mudrik and his agent did not put pressure on Shakhtar

CEO of Shakhtar Sergey Palkin said that the Ukrainian midfielder Mikhail Mudrik he was sympathetic to his sale and did not blackmail the leadership of the Miners.

“We didn’t have detailed discussions with Mudrik. He was professional, he didn’t push us. He didn’t want to meet with us to ask why we didn’t sell him or complain that he wasn’t sold for 50 or 60 million euros.”

The midfielder signed a contract with Chelsea for eight and a half years. The Ukrainian will perform in the London club under the 15th number. The Blues will pay 100 million euros for Mudrik, of which 30 million are bonus payments.
