“We continue to keep the world’s attention on the war.” Svitolina and Shevchenko spoke at the World Economic Forum in Davos

Ambassadors of the UNITED24 platform urged to support Ukraine

Former first racket of Ukraine Elina Svitolina and former head coach of the Ukrainian national football team Andrey Shevchenko spoke at World Economic Forum 2023 in Davos and urged to support Ukraine.

“Here at the Ukraine House in Davos, we continue to build support for Ukraine and keep the world’s attention on the war and what every Ukrainian is going through right now. We are united, we continue to fight each on our own front! Ukraine is everyone who joins us,” Svitolina wrote on Twitter.

Svitolina and Shevchenko are the ambassadors of the UNITED24 platform, created to provide financial assistance to the Armed Forces of Ukraine, civilians, as well as to restore Ukraine from the consequences of Russian military aggression.

In December, Elina held a charity gala dinner in Monaco. During the event, 170 thousand euros were collected for generators for Ukrainian hospitals.

Early on the morning of February 24, Russia launched rocket and air strikes on most Ukrainian cities and then launched a full-scale military invasion. Russia’s war against Ukraine continues for the 328th day.
