Ukrainian winger Mikhail Mudrik spent first workout as part of his new team – Chelsea.
Mudrik has signed an eight-and-a-half-year contract with Chelsea and will wear number 15 at Chelsea. Mudrik’s transfer from Shakhtar to Chelsea has become the most expensive winter signing in Premier League history. The salary of the Ukrainian will be 150 thousand pounds a week.
In the race for Ukrainian talent, Chelsea overtook Arsenal. According to Shakhtar CEO Sergei Palkin, the Pitmen were not satisfied with the payment system from Arsenal, so the Donetsk club accepted Chelsea’s offer.
The Graham Potter team after the victory over Crystal Palace scored 28 points and is in 10th place. Chelsea will play Liverpool next on January 21st.
