Honorary President of Agribusiness criticized the work of the Ukrainian Football Association
Honorary President of Agribusiness Oleg Sobutsky shared his opinion on the work of Ukrainian football legends in Ukrainian Football Association. He also spoke sharply about the members of the UAF Executive Committee.
“I can’t say anything bad about Blokhin and Belanov, because I don’t know if they receive a salary in the UAF or not. And if you take Demyanenko, Protasov, Mikhailichenko, then I don’t know what they are doing. Most likely, they came, gave someone a letter or a ball … They are engaged in window dressing. And, of course, they receive a salary and not a small one. What committees do they chair and what have these committees achieved so far, what have they really done? I can’t say, let them show their results and what they did,” Sobutsky said.
“We were friends with many members of the UAF Executive Committee, but money does everything. They don’t look at what happened before. They went to Pavelko’s side and don’t think about Ukrainian football. If you really figure out what these people are doing in the UAF today? They only like Andrei Pavelko. Really, what kind of work do they do? And they all get paid.”
“You should see what it looks like. It’s just funny – if you didn’t like it, then that’s it, you’re not with Pavelko. Andrei Vasilievich carries an empty box – they should like it, Pavelko left – they shout: we are with you. Although then the Executive Committee passes and where these people are. There is one person who is with Pavelko and is really faithful to him – this is Alan Pliev. This is a gray cardinal, carrying out all the commands, who to bend, who to bend. This is one person Pavelko can count on. And the rest – today with him, tomorrow with another, the day after tomorrow with a third. There is nothing sacred there, except money.
Recall that the Kyiv Pechersk Court appointed Pavelko a preventive measure in the form of arrest for two months, until January 22, 2023. However, Pavelko had the opportunity to make a bail, which was used by the UAF, paying about 10 million hryvnias. Then the famous football players Oleg Blokhin, Igor Belanov, Alexei Mikhailichenko and Anatoly Demyanenko came to court to support Pavelko.
The UAF considers the proceedings against Pavelko to be custom work from the former leaders of the association. Representatives of the UAF and Ukrainian football legends Oleg Protasov and Anatoly Demyanenko spoke in support of the leaders of the Association.
In 2018, the Schemes program conducted an investigation, as a result of which journalists suspected the UAF and its president Andriy Pavelko of corruption through a factory for the production of artificial fields.
Recall that the honorary president of Agribusiness Oleg Sobutsky was disqualified for life. He was suspended from football activities for beating referee Yuri Ivanov after the First League match between Agribusiness and Minay in July 2020. Subsequently, the Lausanne Court of Arbitration for Sport reduced the period of ineligibility to five years.
Oleg Sobutsky joined the army after a full-scale Russian invasion. The functionary defends Ukraine along with other employees and players of the club in Bakhmut.
